Trauma-Informed Coaching Course (Coaching in Practice Series 2027)
Trauma-Informed Coaching is a six-hour professional development course exploring how principles of safety, trust, choice, and agency can inform coaching practice and support more responsive, client-centered coaching relationships.
Across three live, interactive sessions, you’ll explore foundational principles of trauma-informed practice; learn alongside guest expert Jorden Cummings; and reflect on and practice ways to apply trauma-informed principles while maintaining appropriate ethical and professional boundaries.
The course will help you consider how coaches can support client choice and agency, respond thoughtfully when difficult emotions or experiences arise, attend to power and context within the coaching relationship, and recognize the important boundaries between coaching and therapeutic practice.
Each course includes three live sessions featuring foundational learning, a guest expert conversation, and integration and coaching practice.
The course includes 6 hours of live instruction and is currently pending approval for 6 ICF CCE credits (5 Core Competency + 1 Resource Development).
